Tractian Recruitment Process
I’m aplliyng to a position as Talent Acquisition Specialist — Growth Recruiting US & MX at Tractian, and they asked me two questions. I was thinking about that and decided to share in my medium the full answers!
Tell us about an experience you had and think it’s relevant for us to know!
In my experience at Shopee I had the opportunity to hire 12% of my positions with diversity people, mostly transgender. Thinking about Brazil, that’s huge! I also helped to improve the SLA of my team, and create a more human kind onboarding to the ones who was joying us!

My success story was a really challenging position. I had 3 weeks to find a Brazilian person who spoke fluent Chinese, accepted a low salary and had experience in e-commerce/cross-border. Furthermore, it should be someone who knows how to fit in well and respects Asian culture, as they would have to deal with several clients personally. The hardest part was finding the salary, because in Brazil there are people who speak Chinese fluently, but with very high salaries. I was able to count on the help of the recruitment team and my leader for publicity, but the work of actually finding someone was up to me. I went in person to some neighborhoods in my city to recruit and interview candidates, and managed to secure the long-awaited vacancy! My internal client was so happy with the result that they opened two more vacancies and insisted that I work on them.
